Join Us for a Riparian Buffer Planting Event! We are excited to announce a special event in partnership with the Organic Compound, where we’ll be coming together to make a lasting impact on our land and waterways. This event focuses on planting four varieties of willow into a riparian buffer along Prairie Creek, a vital waterway on our property that feeds into the Minnesota River, the Mississippi River, and, ultimately, the Gulf of Mexico. Clean water is essential—not just for this farm but also for communities and ecosystems downstream. By planting a diverse array of trees and shrubs along the creek, we’ll help protect water quality, prevent erosion, and support wildlife habitat. This is more than just planting; it’s a commitment to our rivers' health and the environment's well-being.
