Malamanya

Malamanya is a Twin Cities based band known for their vintage Afro- Latin music. The group is comprised on musicians who share a mutual respect and enthusiasm for traditional rhythms and melodies from Cuba and Latin America. The group travels internationally, most recently on a well-received trip to Panama. Latim music and dance enthusiasts flock to their shows when they perform in Minnesota at such venues as Cedar Cultural Center, Orchestra Hall, Dakota Jazz Club, and First Avenue. Malamanya's style is vintage Afro-Latin and their sounds is classic. Their onstage energy and compositions reflect the communal, complex, and celebratory spirit prevalent in Afro-Latin music.
