Bone Marrow Donation Drive

     On April 12, Shattuck St.-Mary's School wil host a bone marrow donor registration drive from 2 to 6 pm in the student lounge.  The event is organized by the BioScience senior students of Shattuck-St. Mary's for the organization Be the Match.
     Volunteers must be between the ages of 18-44 and are required to bring identification paperwork.  After that, they will have their cheeks swabbed by cotton Q-tips.
      If a hospital needs bone marrow suddenly and finds a registered member to be a match, they will contact him or her, usually via phone, and they will be asked whether or not they want to donate.
